'It's one crazy adventure after another for Finn the human, and his best friend, Jake, a 28-year old dog with magical powers. The Adventure Time Season 3 DVD features 26 episodes of the hit series plus special features.'

Jake The Dog and Finn The Human are back with all their friends for this, the entire third season of the internationally acclaimed series Adventure Time! As seen around Australia on GO! and Cartoon Network, the Emmy nominated series has recently been named by EW.com as one of the top 25 animated series of all time...big stuff!

The series follows the adventures of Finn, a human boy, and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake, a dog with magical powers to change shape and grow and shrink at will. Ward describes Finn as a "fiery little kid with strong morals", while Jake is based on Bill Murray's character Tripper Harrison from Meatballs. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. Along the way, they interact with the other main characters of the show: Princess Bubblegum, the Ice King, and Marceline the Vampire Queen.

Season 3 of
Adventure Time features 26 episodes of goodness along with episode commentaries from cast and crew, an alternate intoduction to the show and a feature on 'How an idea becomes an Adventure Time'!

Adventure Time is even better I find because you can jump on board at any time, watch any episode and not feel as if you have missed anything as the episodes don't follow on as such. It's a new adventure each episode and, well, season three contains 26 of them. If you've bought seasons one and two then its a no brainer that you need to jump out and pick up the latest season quick smart. Those of you who are new to the series, grab a copy of an earlier series or better still, pick up one of the 5 collections available which contain a mix of episodes. You, and the kids, won't be disappointed!
